Landscape photography's a bit of an obsession for me. It's a way to reveal my love of the outdoors not only to others but to myself. I am often overwhelmed by the immensity of nature. Sat on a beach or mountainside I struggle to take in the beauty around me, but to isolate part of the scene and capture it within the frame of a picture I can focus my mind on that area and appreciate the scene and changing light more fully.
My photography's also about contemplation, it would be hard to stand witness to natures beauty and not get lost in your thoughts and I hope that comes across in my pictures.
